In Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as the heroic cyborg from Terminator 2, once again traveling back in time to protect future human resistance leader John Connor, now played by Nick Stahl. Connor has become a drifter following his mother’s death, trying to stay under the radar to fulfill his destiny. While breaking into a lab for painkillers, he encounters Kate Brewster (Claire Danes), his future wife, and a formidable new Terminator, played by Kristanna Loken. Loken’s Terminator is determined to eliminate Connor, Brewster, and anyone in her way, leading to epic battles between her and Schwarzenegger’s Terminator, filled with action and Schwarzenegger’s iconic one-liners.
