In the groundbreaking 1993 film “Jurassic Park,” directed by Steven Spielberg, the awe-inspiring yet perilous adventure unfolds on Isla Nublar, where a new theme park populated with genetically engineered dinosaurs has been established. The excitement turns to horror when a velociraptor attack results in a worker’s death, prompting park founder John Hammond (Sir Richard Attenborough) to invite Paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and his assistant Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) to assess the park’s safety. They are joined by Hammond’s lawyer Donald Gennaro (Martin Ferrero) and chaotician Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum). Upon arrival, the group is both amazed and skeptical at the sight of living dinosaurs.
The situation escalates when Hammond’s grandchildren, Lex and Tim (Ariana Richards and Joseph Mazzello), join for a tour, during which Dr. Sattler tends to a sick triceratops. Disaster strikes as the park’s power is sabotaged by Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight), a computer technician scheming to steal dinosaur embryos for a buyer. This act unleashes chaos, with dinosaurs, including a fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex, escaping and wreaking havoc during a thunderstorm. The T-Rex’s attack leaves Malcolm injured, and Dr. Grant stranded with the children.
As the park plunges into turmoil, Hammond, Sattler, and the operations team struggle to regain control, discovering too late that Nedry’s interference has also freed the cunning velociraptors. Now, the survivors must navigate a treacherous landscape dominated by these predators in a desperate bid to escape the island.
